Data retention and export

How long Gamebeast keeps your analytics data on each plan (6 months Free, 1 year Beast, 2+ years Enterprise), how to export raw data over the API, MCP, or CSV, and how deletion works.

Gamebeast keeps your raw markers for 6 months on Free, 1 year on Beast, and 2 years or more on Enterprise, and you can export them at any time over the Server API on every plan. Within that window nothing is sampled or rolled up: queries read every marker your SDKs sent. You own your data; the Terms of Service say so.

Retention

PlanRaw markers kept for
Free6 months
Beast1 year
Enterprise2+ years, extendable on request

Experiment results, cohorts, and dashboards are computed from the same raw markers, so they cover the same window. An ended experiment stays queryable, with its groups and members, for as long as its markers are kept.

Some derived data has its own, shorter window:

DataKept
Cohort membership historyDaily snapshots for 90 days. Current members are always available.
Community sentiment (Discord and other sources)6 to 12 months, depending on the stage of analysis. Discord data is deleted on request.

To keep data longer than your plan does, export it (below) or talk to us about Enterprise retention.

Export

There are four ways to get data out:

  • Server API. List raw markers (POST /application/{applicationId}/analytics/v1/markers/raw) returns your raw markers with filtering and pagination. Authenticate with a Server Key that has markers:read. Use it for a one-off export or a scheduled job into your own warehouse.
  • Analytics queries over the API. Run insight, funnel, and retention queries, or a saved query, and get the results as JSON.
  • MCP. An agent connected over MCP can run the same queries and pull raw markers into your own tools, within its permissions.
  • CSV. Charts with a Table view show exact values to copy, and billing usage history downloads as CSV.

Configurations export as JSON from the command palette (Export configuration).

Deletion

  • A player's data is deleted within 30 days of a request, from the dashboard or the API. See Data Management.
  • A project's data is deleted when you ask us to close the project. Email [email protected].
