Platform Changelog 2026

Release v26.06.22c (2026-06-23)

New Features

  • Organization settings now include a unified API Keys page that replaces separate SDK Keys and Query Keys sections.
  • Create API keys through a guided flow: choose SDK key or Server key, set a name, project scope, and expiration, with optional environment and permission restrictions.
  • View and manage keys in a sortable table; open any row to see details, edit settings inline, rotate secrets, or deactivate keys.

Improvements

  • Key types are labeled SDK key (formerly Public) and Server key (formerly Secret) throughout the UI.
  • A toggle lets you show deactivated keys in the table.
  • Onboarding setup now creates an SDK key through the new API Keys flow.

Behavior Changes

  • Settings sidebar combines the former SDK Keys and Query Keys entries into a single API Keys link under Organization.

Release v26.06.22b (2026-06-22)

Bug Fixes

  • Inviting someone who is already an organization member no longer fails with a “Membership already exists” error. The org and project invite dialogs detect existing members and point you to the correct flow instead.
  • Manage projects again lists all organization projects so you can grant access to new ones or revoke access with No access.
  • Members invited with project-only access (organization role None) now appear in the project Add Member dialog.

Release v26.06.22a (2026-06-22)

Bug Fixes

  • In the cohort builder, clicking Filter, Duplicate, or Cancel on a metric condition no longer saves and closes the modal unexpectedly.

Release v26.06.21a (2026-06-22)

Release v26.06.19a (2026-06-19)

Improvements

  • Discord projects no longer show Configurations, Experiments, or Jobs in the sidebar; visiting those routes directly shows a clear unsupported-platform message.

  • Organization projects can be sorted by platform.

  • The None organization role is available in the role change dialog and member role filter on the organization members page.

  • Organization members without a role show a warning indicator in the members table.

  • Modal confirmation dialogs show the correct keyboard shortcut for your operating system (Cmd on macOS, Ctrl elsewhere).

  • Long lists in project and member multi-select dialogs now scroll correctly.

  • Discord Engagement default dashboards compute Messages / Member with a simplified average metric.

Bug Fixes

  • Organization role checks for members with no access now work correctly in production, where the role name differs from local environments.

  • The floating SETUP badge no longer appears incorrectly on Discord project settings.

Behavior Changes

  • Assigning the None organization role no longer asks whether to remove the member; the member stays in the organization without org-default project access.

Release v26.06.18a (2026-06-19)

New Features

  • Discord projects now ship with default analytics dashboards for Overview, Engagement, and Growth & Retention, covering member growth, messaging, voice activity, participation, and retention cohorts.

  • New Free plan subscriptions receive a one-time $5 AI credit on first signup.

  • Project member settings use a new Add Member flow to grant existing organization members access, with a project-scoped invite option for new members.

Improvements

  • Organization and Project Members tables now include search by name and email, with result counts as you filter.

  • Organization and project member management has been overhauled: role and project access changes save on confirmation, roles display as badges with actions in kebab menus, and you cannot change your own role or remove yourself from the wrong context.

  • Member lists update immediately after org invites or removals without requiring a page refresh.

  • Beast tier marker budgets and billing cycles resolve more reliably from scheduled cap updates and budget allocations.

  • Budget lists no longer show stale marker budget rows on non-Beast tiers.

Behavior Changes

  • Enterprise subscriptions can enforce hard marker ingestion caps; new marker ingestion stops when the cap is reached while analytics queries remain available.

Improvements

  • Signup now shows a password strength meter as you choose your password.

  • Email verification during signup uses a clearer step-by-step flow.

  • Organization invite emails list which applications you can access with styled labels for each app.

Bug Fixes

  • Opening password reset or email verification links in a browser where you are already signed in no longer redirects you away from those pages.

Release v26.06.16a (2026-06-16)

Improvements

  • The configurations sidebar uses a file-tree layout where each configuration is an expandable folder and nested JSON fields are selectable at every depth, with save and revert in a right-click menu on any node.

  • The marker overage budget editor has a redesigned dialog with clearer dollar formatting, estimated overage impact rows, and warnings when your monthly cap looks inconsistent.

Bug Fixes

  • The marker overage budget edit button opens correctly when shown next to an information tooltip.

  • Signup no longer submits twice when you click Continue on the final step.

Behavior Changes

  • Reworked the email verification system to use a new magic link system with cleaner signup and verification flow.

Release v26.06.15a (2026-06-15)

Improvements

  • The dashboard uses a refreshed neutral slate theme with standardized buttons, updated typography, and a simplified sidebar with a redesigned org and workspace switcher.

Bug Fixes

  • The Get started checklist no longer flashes briefly on fully onboarded organizations while completion status is still loading.

  • Manual product tours now progress correctly for organizations that already have projects and SDK data.

  • Onboarding checklist steps, such as inviting a teammate, update immediately without requiring a page refresh.

Behavior Changes

  • Custom app accent color selection and the theme customization page have been removed; the dashboard now uses a consistent neutral theme with light and dark mode only.

Release v26.06.14b (2026-06-15)

Bug Fixes

  • The Get started checklist and product tour now detect your first SDK event more reliably, including free marker data, studio testing, and orgs between billing cycles or that have paused sending data.

Release v26.06.14a (2026-06-14)

New Features

  • A new onboarding experience helps you get started with a Get started checklist, guided product tours, and platform-specific SDK setup flows for Roblox and Unity.

  • Projects can have custom thumbnails and accent colors, with new filtering and sorting options on the organization project list.

  • Analytics query execution now exposes versioned v1 APIs with dedicated endpoints per query type (insight, funnel, heatmap, retention) and support for running saved queries with optional overrides.

Improvements

  • Date and time pickers across the dashboard use an updated calendar interface.

Bug Fixes

  • Boards no longer freeze or crash when switching dashboards or tabs, with improved chart lifecycle management and lazy loading for off-screen widgets.

  • Failed board query refresh toasts are now limited to one per minute per query instead of flooding the screen.

  • Onboarding tours and checklists behave more reliably: tours respect org switches and billing data, analytics tasks unlock only after your first event, invite actions require permission, and creating a project during the intro tour hands off cleanly to the project tour.

Release v26.06.12a (2026-06-12)

Improvements

  • The analytics product roadmap now shows Q3 2026 through Q1 2027 quarter tabs, with refreshed timelines and upcoming features.

Bug Fixes

  • Real-time job and user dashboards reconnect cleanly when you navigate or switch projects, avoiding stale or leaked live-update connections.

  • Sign-in and OAuth redirects now ignore off-origin redirectTo URLs and send you to your normal in-app destination instead.

Release v26.06.11b (2026-06-11)

Bug Fixes

  • The Discord setup banner no longer flashes on screen while link status is still loading.

Release v26.06.11a (2026-06-11)

Bug Fixes

  • Discord bot marker ingestion now routes through a dedicated ingestion endpoint, restoring reliable activity reporting when API and ingestion hosts are split.

Release v26.06.10b (2026-06-10)

Improvements

  • Organizations on a trial plan can now upgrade to the Beast plan from billing, with the same preview, budget editing, and confirmation flow as Free tier upgrades.

  • Usage History lets you sort marker names and volumes ascending or descending within each project breakdown, shows an explicit billing cycle date range per row, and displays exact marker counts on hover.

  • Configuration diff previews in deploy, revert, and copy dialogs support expanding and collapsing nested sections, and copying between environments always loads a fresh diff instead of a cached snapshot.

  • Marker counts across billing plans, summaries, invoices, and usage views use consistent compact formatting (including billions and trillions where applicable).

Bug Fixes

  • The browser tab favicon now shows the correct Gamebeast icon.

  • Query builder cohort filters and breakdowns show the cohort name on hover instead of the internal cohort ID.

Behavior Changes

  • Usage history cycle boundaries and daily totals now align with local billing cycle dates instead of UTC midnight, which may change how volumes appear per cycle.

Release v26.06.09b (2026-06-09)

Improvements

  • Marker ingestion is more resilient during infrastructure stress, with automatic fallback so batches are less likely to fail outright.

Behavior Changes

  • Beast plan organizations that exceed their usage budget can still run analytics and dashboard queries; only paid-marker ingestion is blocked until the budget is raised or the cycle resets. Free plan hard-cap and payment-failure blocks still restrict queries as before.

Release v26.06.09a (2026-06-09)

New Features

  • The Discord bot now reports activity directly into the platform, including when it joins a new server.

  • Configurations are now be updated incrementally, with a diff preview shown in the deploy and copy dialogs so you can review changes before applying.

Improvements

  • Discord appears as a project platform only when the discord_projects flag is enabled for your org.

Bug Fixes

  • Stepping into nested objects in the experiment config editor now correctly expands the left nav tree, and the experiments list now has a proper empty state.

Behavior Changes

  • Signup no longer requires an invitation token.

  • Deeplink dashboards and marker webhooks are always available.

  • Moved experiment “Add Filter” button below filter list and swapped order of user/server experiment modes
  • Increased project selection popover height and improved project name visibility
  • Removed Studio tag from deeplinks table since deeplinks are not scoped to environment

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed sign-in issues on Safari for localhost environments
  • Fixed non-functional trash can button for experiment date ranges
  • Fixed bug preventing custom unit decimals from being set to 0
  • Fixed unintended toggle behavior where clicking setting names would change toggle states for brand opportunities and ad settings
